图表类作文是考研英语二中一个重要的写作模式之一，万学海文英语考研辅导专家们建议2012年考研的同学们在开始动笔之前，应该对图表所提供的信息要有所了解。对于此类题目，前期的工作有：

4). 数据：
①最值：reach/arrive at the bottom/peak/highest point/lowest point
②数据趋势（增、减、上下浮动、持平）：increase, soar, rocket, ascend, mount, climb, jump, rise, grow; fall, drop, decline, reduce, decrease, descend, go down; fluctuate; remain steady/stable, stay the same, keep to the same level, little/hardly any/no change.
③变化程度：
noticeable，considerable，suddenly，rapidly，dramatically，significantly，sharply，steeply，steadily，gradually，slowly，slightly，stably
④程度副词：
almost；nearly；approximately；about；just over；over；exactly；precisely
⑤范围：change/expand from to, range from, scale, between…and
⑥倍数表达：
as…as…; the same as; 倍数+形容词比较级+than; 倍数+the+计量名词（length, width, height, weight, size）+of; 倍数（twice/double/triple/quadruple）+一般名词; …by+percentage
（3）. 常用句型表达
